Hi, does anyone know how long is the police certificate is valid for? We haven't got our AOR yet, but I know that at some point, CIC will ask my parents to submit police certification. My mother is going back to her home country for a one month vacation soon. Then she will return to Canada and stay for another 6 months. We are thinking to get the police certification while she is in her home country even though CIC hasn't asked us to submit that yet? Otherwise, she will have to go back again later to get it. Will that be ok? I tried to call IRCC, can't even get through. Thanks.

Why people keep asking this question again and again and again and again I am not getting it. The form you submitted for the PGP application, very clearly says if you provide an email address, all the correspondence will be sent via e-mail.
