Hello guys,
Just got my 1st Ghost Update today!
My AOR is 19 March.
How much it usually take to receive PPR after such update?
Should i expect another GU. Or next one is PPR?

I got my 1st GU last week (Thursday) and so far no more updates.
Some people got 2 GUs in the same week. So it varies.

Same story, AOR 18th March. No update after biometric completed on May. I raised webform on 18th Sep, common reply. Fingers crossed hoping to get PPR soon. All the very best to everyone waiting like us.

Biometric letter for wife only (husband's biometric never requested): 14 May2019 (completed on 10 june at vfs stockholm and updated in profile next day)

Medical was extended: 6 sep (Spouse (living in canada) med was expired on May15)
PPR: 9 Sep
Passport sent on 11Sep: wife's passport was sent to vfs stockholm, and husband's to CPC-ottawa
COPR: 16 sep for wife, 26 sep for husband
Husband Passport was lost by canada post (CP). Filed a complaint to CP. A week before from now, an anonymous person had called me to pick up my parcel from his place as it was mistakenly delivered to him by CP. I just called that person again today in curiosity for my missing passport and COPR. He checked his mailbox, and found my package luckily.
Precaution: According to many online forums and my experience, CP frequently loses such important mails. Better to opt for signature required upon delivery service or CASH ON DELIVERY is another option. No one wants to lose passport and COPR

Please note that our initial ETA was 11 Sep but when we checked with the IRCC helpline around 4 Sep, they said that Background and Security checks were not initiated. Thereafter, we received two Ghost Updates in quick succession: 25 Sep and 1 Oct.

All I can say from our experience is, please be patient and positive and the dream email will certainly come. All the very best!!

Congratz, Are you inside or outside canada and how did u contact. I have tried many times but they are unable to find my file on that call.

Yes I did ....got it on Sept 5... Said Review Required on Eligibility (they couldn't find job roles and resp for current job)... So proactively sent it on Sept 9th through web form...

No movement since then...

Mine is Montreal VO (as per my gCms) ... Don't know what's taking so long... AOR March 18... Almost 6.5 months...

Any chances of rejections or refusals after waiting this long? That's my worry...

Hieeeee my Golden Email has come . Received it on 03 October 2019 at 2.52 am. The email was sitting in my spam folder. My timeline is as below

23rd Jan - ITA
23 March - AOR
7 May - MEP
20 May - Biometrics done
28 August - Applied GCMS notes
23 September - 6 month timeline over
24 September - raised a web form on CIC website
27 September - Received GCMS Notes. It stated criminality passed. Background and eligibility not started.
03 October - PPR Email received

I did NOT get any GUs in my entire process. My suggestion is that please apply for GCMS Notes as it triggers the process. Apart from that there is not much one can do except being patient!
