Why are they asking for a Copy of the Passport instead of PPR?

probably they wanna know any more travels happened lately.. could be due to health concerns etc ? not sure.. but maybe!!

I think just the IMM5562 form is needed for India. Rest all forms were already submitted. I also provided the copy of Passport in the package so do i need to send them again if the passport has not changed?
Also why they want all pages of passport?

Yeah same thing for most of us. We already submitted it but as they requested again, I'll submit the same thing again. All pages might have something to do with checking stamps,etc. That's just my guess

I got the same email as the others are mentioning.

It requires biometrics, but we never received a request to have one. My mom never had biometrics before. Are there any form that we need in order to book an appointment for biometrics?

Medical exam was requested last Sept 10, we submitted a webform request to consider my mom’s recent medical last April 2019. We got the response that they received our request and that they would forward it to the corresponding office processing our application. Up to this date, it has not been uploaded and reflected on CIC account.

If we approve your parents’ and grandparents’ permanent residence application
To finish processing their application, your parents and grandparents, and their dependants who are immigrating to Canada with them, will have to send us:

• their passports, or photocopies of their passports (we’ll let you know which one they should send)

No it is not passport request. They are just asking for an updated copy if applicable or for the current passport.

For final visa, photocopy is for people who are visa exempt to come to canada and original passport required for stamping for rest all
