Hi All,

Quick question, I can cross the border, but for flagpoling, when you let the officer know that you are flagpoling for parents what would happen to me, i mean since i am canadian citizen and just bringing parents for landing.

They will just check your papers to make sure you are legit allowed to come to Canada, take your passport and ID's. You will probably be with you parents for translation purposes

mine was exact 5 days after they received the documents

Since you are going to cross border carry some change (you will need some when you enter Canada again). They will probably check your car to make sure you are not smuggling anything. also they can check your phone messages, pictures and email (delete any if you don't want them to see something)

Also mom dad are in Canada, would I be allowed to send passports to Canada somewhere?

I submitted my documents on April 15th 2019. No update after that. In my Cic account it shows We are reviewing the additional documents submitted. I have sent them email 3 different times to know the status but no reply. Just waiting for their reply since last 5 months.

Does anyone know how to know status of file from NDVO? I have tried contacting them multiple times and they don't reply. I submitted the documents they asked in my Cic account. CIC account shows ' We are reviewing the documents submitted'. this status is from last 5 months. Any help would be appreciated. I submitted my file last year on 24th May 2019. I got my CSQ on May 8th 2019. Looks like it is taking longer than usual.

Did any of you get a request to complete the ‘Police services and government services’ form? The form appears tailored for military jobs with questions on rank, battalion etc. My parents were in normal desk jobs under the government. Wondering how to fill this form. Please guide if you had been in a similar situation.

I also got DM made on ECAS for 2 weeks but still don’t have PPR .
I called agent today and she said file will be sent to NDVO and she said to wait for decision

DM both sides on ECAS but no letter. Checked the status for PA and it says “We started processing your app on September 13 ,2019”

But it said before: we started processing January 4 2019.
Any significance of this change?
