I applied on June 20th. cic told me I shall get mine by 26th sept i am flying to India on october 27th and I need to get a work visa once I receive my work permit. everything is messed up in here.

My girlfriend applied to change the employer. She doesn’t have a job already for more than 3 months of waiting for a new work permit.

This system is broken totally :/

Do you think it is possible to get a work visa having work permit in process and p.r application in process as well, ?can my local mp intervene in any case?

You need a valid WP to apply for a work visa. Maybe call IRCC and ask what are your options?

Yeah but they just tell you that they’re working on May 27th applications, anything after that are not processed yet.

But it was an update for May 26 from September 8!! Almost 2 weeks ago. I am pretty sure until now they should’ve processed some more applications...
