Anything related to study for example scholarship/bursaries/phd stipends/graduate fellowship etc are NOT counted. Only line 150 in tax return from CRA will count.

60K is normal income to sponsor 2 parents. Check the minimum requirements on IRCC website, for large families the amount is higher. The income must be met for the last 3 taxation years.

Quebec is only one year but I agree that the scholarships and bursaries are unlikely to be counted but it is up to Quebec to decide.

Don't worry guys. According to website its 2 year process. But i have lot of experience with CIC application. In the end you will catch up no matter what. I have seen so many cases where someone didn't hear from cic and suddenly everything happens in a month. It happened to me too.

They asked for original PCC , travel history ( but no attachment of any form) .And what does it mean “ including
citizenship and resident document information FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE.“
When they ask for original PCC means the documents has to be sent by mail ( post or courier).

PR card received yesterday on Sep 18th, card was produced on the 10th, and landed on Aug 22nd. Timeline seems to align with what IRCC currently declares 12 days to receive the first PR card.

I really have nothing much to update anymore.

I also sent a request for refund of the biometric fee via webform.

No. You don’t need to get a police certificate for your time in Canada.

hello experts!

I am June 6th applicant... expecting AOR anytime now as per the trend.. just saw someone from June 5th was able to link app...

My ecas is pre maturely activated by crazy intern.. on my dad's ecas it shows CANADIAN address as they WERE in canada till now... they just left back for HOME (INDIA)... should i update/change the contact information and inform IRCC ? not sure what are the implications/ further steps like .. bio metrics/ medicals after AOR and the time line... any inputs are much appreciated... thanks in advance...

You are from which country? CPC-M is slow to send the PCC, but at the end they might process faster, who knows!

Wait till you see the AoR.
