Yes there was, but the sponsor is not the representative. I think they want that the sponsor should authorize the representative as well. The submitted form was signed by the grandparents. So do they want a second IMM 5476 now, signed by the sponsor?

Yes, usually that is how it works. You have to fill in IMM5476 and send it to them. It will be signed by you and sponsor.

It should not impact anything other than that all the communication will be delivered to you

I mailed in my application May the 9th.
Still nothing updated, no approval of sponsorship, no medical request, my ECAS status keep showing In process for both sponsor side and principal application side, and on the sponsor side it says start to process since Aug 6.
I called cic once back two weeks, all the rep ask me to do it waiting, is my progress normal?
what about link to CIC, is that any different from using ECAS to check status daily?
What method CIC would contact me if anything need to do, will they always just email or they will show what need to be done on ECAS page.
I don't want to risk email missing or something.

Call CIC again and ask for temp file number to confirm receipt of your application.

Quick update, this additional request as per e-medical notes is to wait for 3 months and review the condition again after 3 months by same Cardiologist. So I think we need to wait for 3 months and submit the Cardiologist's opinion/report after 3 months to show if condition is stable. Not sure it is good or bad but looking forward to these 3 months. I may not get any other update on my parent's PR file until we submit this review again after 3 months.

Anyone else who experienced the same kind of review/revisit situation?

I am not sure about the heart condition review, but people who are suspected for TB, are usually given 3 months time period wait for repeat Chest Xrays and sputum tests. 2018 forum will have more details on this kind of situation.

You should link your file to mycic, you will get your file no.

My cic also provide real-time updates.

And few others from your similar time frame is stuck in the IP

Yes my in-laws were in the same boat. They asked father in law to re-visit after 3 months during which period they did Sputum tests and Chest X-ray when he went back after 3 months. They were checking for TB. Current status is "You passed medicals". They are Sep 2018 applicants.
