No, it’s not true. As my friend’s case, he is the sponsor and representative of his parents, lives in Canada. And his parents live in Canada with supervisa. But his case has still been transferred to Hongkong.

Few , but most case it will process at CPC -M,

One applicant @willwelldone submitted representative form BUT as per CIC they not received form with application and asking applicant to resubmit .

Other case applicant have no representative / parents not in canada but PR application process at CPC-M.

If you have representative and still file transfer to LVO please ask CIC to confirm representative form received or not.

For the last question (number of people) you need to add yourself and your spouse ( if you have) as well. For example if sponsoring father and mother, number of people will be 4 (including your spouse) .

few link help you : ( if you don't have PA UCI # >> wait for AoR letter or call CIC to get file #) you need file # or PA UCI # to link. if you don''t have Do not try to link.

• last Question Family member = [Sponsor + if cosigner] no kids + [PA + if Dep]

make sure you have to enter PA details to link. do not enter Sponsor details.

PR card received yesterday on Sep 18th, card was produced on the 10th, and landed on Aug 22nd. Timeline seems to align with what IRCC currently declares 12 days to receive the first PR card.

I really have nothing much to update anymore.

I also sent a request for refund of the biometric fee via webform.

May I ask why you're getting a refund for biometrics? Did you get exempted?

Although there are no minimum criteria for the bank balance but you should have at least a few thousand to show that you can support her if she will need any financial help while she is here. 4k to 5k should be enough. you don't need to maintain this balance once you have bank statement.

1. My income is sufficient but not taxable ( bursaries and scholarships) does it count for financial support?
2. I got confused when i tried to calculate the exact amount necessary to sponsor my parents from Qc, I reached a number around 60k, does it make sense or I’ve made a mistake?
