Hello - I got letter to invite for 2019..My application would have reached June 17 - 20. i have not heard a word back from immigration..iam ok waiting ? and idea based on current trends also.. i have seen everyone who applied for mother alone have got a request for dad death cert on the chart. i didnt get any letter shd i be worried?

Yes I thougt the same when @vermas got bio request but I guess you can never be too sure with Ircc

I guess a trick worked in our favour. As my parents arrived here about a month ago, early last week my father decided to inform IRCC regarding change in contact details thru webform. I guess someone in IRCC had to bring out the file to update change of contact details request and the file started moving.

But i requested a change in residential address 5-6 weeks ago (in the home country itself), the address never got updated and i am thinking this a reason of my file being stuck lol
I just didn’t send another request as the mailing address is of Canada, and parents will be coming here after the biometrics, so now i’ll again send request only to update it to Canadian residential.

As you father updated the address to Canadian, but still they got biometric request right?
Have you got the SA, did the file go to CPC-M or back home?

I have a question regarding PPR. My parents got medical request and their file is being processed at CPC-Mississauga. But they are going back to India tomorrow. When they get PPR, do they need to send their passports to Mississauga or Delhi VO?

Called cic today, they gave me temporary file number but it doesn’t show anything online

Yes, despite changing to a Canadian address, they recieved biometrics. They got their visitor visas in July 2018 and biometrics was not there at that time. I am still awaiting SA letter to know the visa office. Once I know that my father will send their PCCs to LVO which they got early last month before leaving India.

You have to make a request to change the office to Delhi

I have the following question if someone could help:
If I was approved as a sponsor this year: does that mean that if the application doesn’t complete until 2022 they won’t check my income again?
Or will they redo the check yearly?
