hi I am july 18th applicant as well, how did you. login from ecas? the only info i have is our receipt number.

Yes the principal applicant (my wife) and daughter (dependant) are from Pakistan. The AOR is being issued by Nova Scotia office, I think it takes 3-4 months further to get file transferred to London Visa Office (LVO), after which it will be processed there.

My husband's application will probably go through the London office because he is in Qatar. He is Egyptian. I knew your case would have to go through London as the PA is from Pakistan.

My Spouse (PA) is from Pakistan. I've sent my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Any idea how much time it generally takes to get AOR for this area?

My child got an extended stay travel document to go to primary school, but I'm still traveling back and fourth from the states to visit Canada when I can... when I turn in my bio-metrics can I still return to Canada to visit my husband and help my child with school? has anyone visited with their spouse in Canada much while they were awaiting PR?

Also we got an email stating we are getting a refund for $85 is being sent, but no explanation. has anyone else received such a notice that might know what it's about?

Only thing i recognize from your query is $85. Which is the equal amount for individual Bio metric fee...May be you dont need bio metric and thats why they return $85

It just dawned on me, we payed for two bio-metric fees not knowing if my child would have to give them as we didn't see if she would or not.. I got my bio-metrics request today... but my Husband has not received a sponsorship approval or anything. I am concerned and confused to recieve the bio request without an approval of sponsorship or anything.

Says it's in process, apparently sent us a letter September 4th... we have yet to get it though

My application was received on 17th July (as per IRCC), got AOR on 10th sept.

I think you will be getting AOR in around 2 weeks time.
