I got Biometrics and AOR the same day but few hours apart.

Application Received - June 13, 2019
AOR - August 1, 2019
SA - August 12, 2019
Bio-metrics Request - August 9, 2019
Medical Request - August 12, 2019
Bio-metrics Passed - August 14, 2019
Medical Passed - August 24, 2019
Decision Made - September 4, 2019

It seems quite fast, is this an encouraging sign?? Or its a normal pace?

Depends on where the PA is from and which VO case is transferred to. This timeline seems to be for CPC-Mississauga where mostly cases from Indian and US are transferred. For all the other VOs it takes much longer.
You can look through the tracker to see the trend of where files are transferred for which countries and their timelines.

Me too same boat and can’t login to ECAS. Guess we have to wait for another 2 weeks

My Spouse (PA) is from Pakistan. I've sent my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Any idea how much time it generally takes to get AOR for this area?

AOR these days is taking around 50-60 days. This is followed by SA, Biometrics and Medical request which comes in very fast after which is a long wait.
Files for Pakistan are transferred to London VO which is one of the slowest and backlogged. As of now cases from last December seem to be transferring, but nothing from this year as yet. it takes another couple of months for PPR after the transfer. These timelines are all approximate looking at the trends, each case is different so you can't really say anything.
I've also sponsored my spouse from Pakistan and currently waiting for file transfer. timeline in signature.

Anyone here with representative? When you receive bio and med request did you receive it thru applicant’s email or they will send it thru representative’s email. Do they also update ecas when they send correspondence. I only depends on ECAS if they update or send something. TIA
