Can you please clarify where is this mentioned for the number of years.
Also, what is I am unable to get PCC for all the countries? What should I do then?
Download IMM5562e. Number of year mention on that form.
You have to inform CIC (if you are not able to get PCC.)

Please add me to the tracker:
Sponsorship: Parents
Province: ON
Parents Country: China
Invitation: Apr 26, 2019
App Received: May 28th,2019
AOR: not yet
ECAS available means an application is considered to be complete? And AOR will come soon?
Is it advisable to call IRCC to check about the status?
Application in process since Aug 07 (May 10th applicant)
I know it may take longer for some files, the only thing is I need my parents to come here and I want them to get the biometrics done back home, but so far no requests.

I believe they look at the same MYCIC screens as what we do. I know its frustrating watching others who submitted later applications later, progress further but if you call them, they will just tell you its still within the 22 month timescale. I'm a 9th May applicant and in the same boat
Hello everyone,
I received medical request today in myCIC account. In the letter the parent’s country was mentioned wrong..it is noted Bailiwick of Jersey instead of Bangladesh. I called IRCC today and the agent told me it should not be an issue. I was wondering if this might cause any problem. Should I inform IRCC about this or just ignore? How can I inform IRCC on this mistake?
Thanks in advance.
@YULIA-2016 @robertp Please update tracker, LVO CPC Mississauga, medical request received today.

Should not be an issue.
If you have the copy of the application file you sent, can you chk if somewhere by mistake you select "Bailiwick of Jersey instead of Bangladesh"

I know, and i understand that we should not bother them by calling that early.
The only thing is, I am expecting and want my mom to come here, but need to wait that they can do their biometrics, otherwise it would be hassle to get USA visa first and do it there
I am hopeful that we might get something this week

Fingers crossed!
Hi Folks,
Is there any way to confirm that ircc has received the doc sent via webform.
Thanks in advance

Any experience on avoiding Biometrics if applicant is already in canada? Can we avoid biometrics informing CIC 2-3 weeks in advance that applicant arriving to canada and planning to stay 6months? Can this biometrics done in canadian ON border?

Hi guys,
I might be jumping the gun here, but I want to be prepared for what might come and what are my options. My sponsorship application was received on June 3rd, and of course I do not have any AOR yet. I am currently expecting, and my mom is planned to come and help me with the baby at the beginning of October and she will stay until February. I am 100% certain that the biometrics request will come in that timeframe. Now, I have read that some parents did not receive any BIO requests since their parents were in Canada. Is this because they already gave their biometrics in the past 2 years, or IRCC is very considerate and does not ask for BIO because it cannot be done in Canada? Is the only alternative to go to US for the bio? I really would not like to spend thousand dollars just for this, and also my mom does not have US visa. Has anyone been in this position that can give any advice?
Thanks,
Bici
@YULIA-2016,
@robertp:
Please update Line 308 (May 24): The AOR letter has been received today by regular mail. The date on the letter is August 27 although I was able to link the application in myCIC a week before that.
