Thanks for the reply in fact as most of the cases I've seen here on the forum the background check is taking between 1 to 2 months but in case it's since March 2019 now so as per the feedback from others they told me that it might be in SS and for my lawyer he can not get any additional info as it only shows that my background check is still under process in his mycic account. Also most of the guys who applied in my month Sep 2018 already received the per-arrival services email in my case nothing yet so I assumed I'm under SS for that factors?
For the GCMS I already applied for it this month and waiting for any feedback but do you know if they send it by email or post to the mentioned postal address?

Not all of us in September have received pre arrival. I know several who have had silence for months ! I am one of them . Silence since April and last set of notes indicate nothing has moved at all ... only under review with case analyst and a bf date of sept 15.
I’m a sept 12 applicant and I’m holding on to hope haha

yeah, why not 100% trustable.gcms is a software system used for processing immigration and its the only accurate way of providing a detailed record of an application's file correspondence from and to IRCC documents received time application status and more information about the next steps of ur file.

Finally got an update on passport return. My wife and I submitted her passport on August 15, 2019 and now approved and on transit on August 29, 2019 in VFS in Bogota. This where we submitted the passport. Just give everyone a time frame. Also in the documents we wrote that myself(sponsor) and P.A. is in Bogota for certain time with return flight. It might help speed up the process.

September 6, 2018: application receieved.
January 12, 2019: medical request.
March 1, 2019: transferred to Mexico.
August 7, 2019: passport request.
August 15, 2019: submitted passport to Bogota VFS
August 29, 2019: passport in transit back to Bogota
