My application was received May 9... It has been exactly one month from the date that my application status changed to "in process" and no progress since then :-(

Hi. My ECAS sponsorship status shows Decision Made. Under the PR status it says in process and when I click on it it says "

1. We received XX's application for permanent residence on May 6, 2019.
2. We sent XX a letter on August 22, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I am surprised they sent something by mail not email! I hope it is not the rejection letter. Did anyone else have similar experience? Also by mail does it mean to the sponsor mail address in Canada or to the applicant's overseas address?

I would recommend not to use this e-mail. If you have to send something, send via webform. This e-mail is not for unsolicited correspondence.

Check your email and your parents email, they never send snail mail even if they say send a letter it is email

you should never send unsolicit email to that address, they will have to ignore if not matching a request

You get an email from IRCC with a PDF mentioning it

Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of XYZ ABC and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
