Good morning everyone!

When I linked my application to MyCIC as the sponsor, it won't let me link it to my mom's MyCIC, is that normal?
Only one account can link the application?

The AoR for the week of May 27th supposed to come last week...but they didn't even activate the eCas for May 27-31 yet....shows how much backlog they are in...let's hope things will move accordingly this week.

Not true, I applied for PCC for my mother at BLS and have received it in a week. All I had to do was write a letter stating I am sponsoring my mom for PR and need the PCC as part of that process .

@Chinkoo . Did you already submit the PCC to IRCC, any update in your myCIC after submitting PCC ? I am wondering if submitting it before IRCC request will cause confusion in officers mind ?

how many papers applications we can link to one cic account ? I have 2 files - one for my parents and one for my in laws. Can I link both of them on my CIC account ?

How long it usually takes between receipt of additional docs and decision made?And does cic usually send anything like a confirmation of receiving of additional docs?

I wonder why it took so long to do this. It's done in the US. I'd love to take my oath the day of or day after passing my test.

I don't think this will affect the processing of sponsorship files as the statement doesn't even mention "sponsorship", it clearly means that it is to a) process the first PR card faster, b) allow people that are already here to do their landing in these offices, or c) take the oath the same day as the test (which is already done in some offices because I've seen some examples in the Citizenship forum)

How did you send the results, or doctor submitted it again on your behalf?

Doctor's office stated that they have uploaded it but just to be on the safer side, I did it via web form as well but no updates yet !

It depends which VFO your application is in, some VFOs will ask you to submit PCC with the application the others will ask the applicants to wait until they send you the letter. For example VFO London.

"If your application is being processed at the Canadian High Commission in London, you are not required to get a police certificate until the London visa office sends you a police certificate request letter with instructions on how to apply."

What is the consensus on this forum for PCC. Does it make sense to apply in advance and send to IRCC (I am aware it is valid only for six months) OR wait for IRCC to request it
Is there anyone who actually submitted it in advance and see a status update in myCIC ? or for PCC only an acknowledgement is received

PCC is only acknowledged. No updates to myCIC or eCAS related to PCC.
Even though we have proactively submitted the PCC(s)* (travel related reasons from my parents), it's perhaps best to submit the PCC(s) only after requested.

* India (India wide through Passport) & Libya (letter by self confirming that PCC is not available for former residents)

guys how long did it take for you to receive ME request after receiving bio request? Since my parents need to travel to a different city for both requests, i'm wondering whether i should wait for a few days so that they can complete bio and ME together... Is this a bad idea? Will this slow down the process?
