Called IRCC a few minutes ago. After waiting on the phone for over 40 mins, I get through to an agent and as soon as I tell him why I'm calling, the guy hangs up!

Maybe he knew your PPR was already on the way, that's why he hung up

ADR1: August 7, 2019 (Schedule A and Proof of Funds)
ADR2: August 9, 2019 (Proof of Funds, again)
Remed: August 15, 2019 (I still had over a month before my meds expired, but...)
PPR: August 24, 2019

I discovered this forum 2 months ago and I've mostly been a silent reader/member.

It came through myCIC account, but as with ADRs, you will always get a notification in your mail to check your CIC.

"This email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Centre requesting the status of your application.

Application is awaiting the review of an officer.

Notification will be sent in due course."

Does this mean that someone is looking at the file?

Added spouse - April 20th
Medicals - Passed but my medicals expired - July 23rd
Background - not started
Criminality - Not started

Also, do I have to medicals for spouse proactively or do I have wait for them to ask?

Usually, that is sign of being in Review Required state. Many of us are in this category.

Did you get any re-med request at all? and are you an inland applicant or outland?

We have everything ( eligibility, criminality, security ets) pass since the end of June!! And still - nothing. All the agents say the same - the file still under the review, due date - not available... Does anyone have same waiting time after every stage is passed?
Our medicals expired on October 16...I have a bad filling, that they will " process" my file till I need to do re-medical...Some more money to spend...(((

I was a bit incorrect - not " under review" as a status, but " they still reviewing your file".
I have ordered GCms a month ago, still waiting...But I have confirmation that eligibility - passed from 6 agents and Ralf, as well, so I suggest - that's true.
