Good day,pls i want too write my ielts exam, but i was told that i should go for verification of result first before writing my ielts exam.how do i verify my result and what will it cost me.thanks
My cousin has her birth certificate with her original birth year which is 1990 but her passport was made using 1989 for her early school admission by her parents. And so her passport and educational certificate has birth year 1989 instead of the real one.
Now if she explains the situation in LOE and claims her birth year to be 1990 in her Express Entry profile, will it be ok? Or she should use 1989 as per her passports? Using 1990 ll give her 5 points more.
A follow-up question - my wife has two unfinished degrees, so the highest finished education is high school.
Does she need WES to claim points for it? If not, will choosing 'less than high school' be a misrepresentation?

Hello there, my CRS score 446. It is very unlikely to receive ITA with this score by looking at current draw trends. I am planning to take PNP route to pursue my Canadian dream. Could you help me on what steps do I need to take?
I have already created EE profile. My NOC codes are 1311 and 1212 (Accounting technicians andbookkeepers and Supervisors, Finance, and Insurance Office Workers)
Dears ,
i have confusion regarding calculating my points for education, i intend to apply under Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program as an Accounting technicians (NOC 1311) because my experience in accounting
the thing is: i have an undergraduate diploma in Accounting (2 years) from one university , and i have a bachelor degree in IT (4 years) from another university, the IT degree was in bridging program (that's mean the university remove some subjects before enrollment (about 15 subjects) because there are some mutual subjects between two programs.
my question is : how many points i can get for education under this program (15 or 20) ?
thanks in advance for your help

Birth certificate is not needed on application anywhere whereas passport would be needed not only on application but also for giving ielts. Keep things simple and go with date on passport else you're complicating it too much. It is what it is now. Officially her birth year is 1989 so go with it.
Hi!According to the Canadian post tracking service,my transcript has cleared customs check and was delivered 3 days ago.But when I sent a message to WES,they say they haven’t received it.Has this happened with anyone?
I have two work experiences and both of them are in last 10 years.
First job is when I was doing my graduation and I was working as a part time administrative assistant office during for four years. Working hours is 30 hours per week.
Second is after my Post graduation that is for only 15 months. Will my part experience be considered when it is having 30 hours per week. Which NOC should I select for primary occupation.
2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.
Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp
For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.
6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:
a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.
f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
I have a question. Got the upgraded WES document yesterday for MBA and updated my EE profile with this newest information yesterday . My CRS should increase by 7 points from 455. Still it reflects 455. Should I wait for like 24 hours and see or should I write to CIC throug a webform?
Has anyone successfully gotten through with an ECA Canadian equivalency of: "Secondary school diploma from a university-preparatory program with undergraduate credit" as a post-secondary degree/diploma?
I'm wondering if this ECA along with my Bachelor's Degree ECA will qualify as me having "Two or more degrees/diplomas...."
Sadly still it appears 455 and due to that i was not selected in the latest EE draw. my b day is around the corner. I filed a technical error. What else can I do?
