@DC1018
For your MIL, it only took 4 days from the IME request to IME passed. Did she use previous medical results? If yes, did you submit it by webform? Thanks!
Nope. I booked the test on the very next day after receiving the request around noon (PST). Next morning around 11, medical was done with no issue whatsoever. Clinic uploaded the results on the 3rd day, fixed a small error in the IME profile along the way, results pass showed up in MyCIC on the 4th day. This is when not many people even started doing ME so it was super fast. Now, apparently there is a delay.
Here is an example of PPR letter and yes it says it is recommended to have the passport valid at least 6 months (again may be not compulsory as you are saying but recommended)
Both what you said are correct and not contradictory. His wife is inland already so it doesn't matter if the passport is less than 6 months of expiry. She can go through the land crossing. However, for other means of travelling to perform the landing, you usually will need to have a passport that's with a longer than 6 months validity. Thus, the letter says for international travels, it recommends the passport should be valid for 6 months at least. Just be careful with how you want to do the landing then plan ahead.

It seems like serum creatine test is required for all and not just for high blood pressure, anyone on same boat? my parents got 160/105 first time then after that drop to 110/90. Doc said it is likely due to white coat syndrom but still we got serum creatine test
Thanks. Did doctor do any EKG ?, Did they say that they will test for serum creatanine and it is extra ? As we were not asked for any extra tests, I am worried if we will be called back again?
We live far away from the medical centers so hoping the serum creatinine is already covered in regular testing.
OK, just an update. I got the photocopy of receipts from the clinic and it seems they have done the following:
Medical Examination - Required
Chest X-ray - Required
HIV Test - Referred
Syphilis - Referred
Serum Creatinine - Referred
I am relieved that they have already done the "serum Creatinine".
Not sure if the "Referred" tests are what the clinic did by themselves or was it mandated by IRCC ? Anyone who already did medical confirm ? PS : The hospital did not charge us anything extra so I am assuming this was all part of "standard" test.
1) Is this year's IRCC process to requets PCC/Medical different than last year? I know some people in 2018 got Medical and PCC request together in a single email. Then they had browser options enabled inside their cic login, to upload the Medical and PCC details.
2) I received medical request letters inside my CIC login (but no email) on 14th AUG and got the medical done for my parents on 17th AUG.Do I need to upload/send the eMedical receipts myself as well somewhere (through WebForm or cic login)? OR the Doctor sending the medical results directly to IRCC is the only step required? I don't see any option to attach medical receipt in my cic login.
3) For people who received PCC already; do we get the PCC request also just inside the CIC login and NOT through email? How do we send PCC results to IRCC (WebForm?)
I just checked ecas, on the applicant side, it shows DM, but when I clicked inside, it doesn't say approved or not. Some how it says we start processing your appliaction on August 13, but I remember the last time I checked it says June 11. That's probably like a week ago.
Is this normal?
My Cic account nothing has been changed yet.
Please update my status (I believe Row 54)- Medical request received August 13 and medicals done August 19. It will take 7-10 days for the medical to go to CIC.
Thanks

Nope. Both of us were in India when we got our PR with a passport valid for less than 6 months. But we still got the PR and travelled to Canada without any issue.
