Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Could anybody else share their experience regarding this, if any? Much appreciated !!

In my Letter, it says that:

If the Principal Applicant and all of the Dependents are in Canada then, they can send the Passport package to Ottawa for Visa Stamping.
Else, it has to be Home Country (in my case Pakistan)

In my situation, my parents (Principal Applicant + Dependent Spouse) are already in Canada, but my brother (Dependent Child) is in Pakistan. Meaning that my parents will have to go back to Pakistan and then send their Passports to Islamabad.

I have however, sent email to London Visa Office for further clarification and have requested them if I can get my parents Visa Stamped here in Canada and then my Brother can get his from Pakistan. Still waiting for response from them.

NDVO is still sleeping in my case. My parent's meds recd date was 10/June. No update after that. They are still reviewing the documents. MEH!

Please add my information in the 2018 file as well. Country of Origin is Pakistan. Processing office is London.

1. Application for parents sponsorship received on May 14, 2018.
2. Processing started for application on July 3, 2019.
3. Medical, police certificate, travel history and additional docs requested on July 4, 2019.
4. Additional medical tested requested on July 22, 2019.
5. Medical results received on August 8. 2019.
6. Decision made on August 9. 2019.
7. Passports requested on August 15, 2019.

Hell Everyone, just a question on the turn around time with CPC-Ottawa-PR. As per Canada Post they just received by mom's passport, the PPR letter etc. How long does it take them to send the passport back? with the new Immigration Visa stamped in it. Can anyone share their experience with CPC-Ottawa-PR from the recent few weeks. Thanks and best of luck to everyone!

There is no notification or email for additional documents, when you sign in to your cic account and click on application
please check the 3rd line

Passed the sponsorship eligibility: Jan 25th, 2019 and they said the file was sent to Ottawa for applicants eligibility
Medical Request: Apr 4th, 2019
Medical passed: Apr 25th, 2019
Travel history and Police certificate request: June 19th, 2019
CV/Resume and Father's military record (including imm5546e form) request: Aug 2nd, 2019 (This letter had a highlighted note at the top stating "FINAL REQUEST"

For the military record I have uploaded the Translation of the Military Card on the GCkey account but I have sent the imm5546e form via email.

Would that cause an issue? Would they still look at the email since I have a GCKey account? I am really worried...

If anyone on the same situation. I need your help! If I want to withdraw my father’s application, his the dependant. My mom is the principal applicant, is that ok to just continue my moms application and withdraw my dad’s application? How did you guys proceed with the withdrawal? Is it gonna affect my mom’s application?

You cannot remove a dependent from your application.
If the reason is that he doesn't want to come yet, you can update him as non-accompanying dependent.
BUT he will need to pass Medical exam, background and security check. And your income need to include him in the family size for calculating the minimum requirement.
