How long after receiving the correspondence letter for biometrics, do you receive an answer?

Hi,

Today I received letter is to notify that your biometric information is valid until 10 years.
I submit my application for study permit last 24th August.

Can anyone advice me which stage is it now. and how many days will take to complete the process?

Application submitted by Paper in Lagos Nigeria: June 17th
Completed Biometrics: June 17th
Biometrics Validity Letter: August 13th

Please, how long more do we need to wait for our visas to be approved?

School resumes in two weeks, I am kinda tensed.

My husband also applied for visitors visa along with me but he hasn't been told to do his medicals.

Someone will similar situation please help.

Is like Nigeria visa application process takes longer time now though you should get your update within two weeks

I applied for Study Permit from Nigeria Fall 2019 resuming September 4th.
Application submitted on 13th June at Abuja VAC office.
Biometrics Done 13th June
Application Recieved 14th June
Application linked to online CIC account on 19th June
Have not done medicals yet!
Biometeric Correspondence Letter received on 16th August

1. Could someone pls tell me if there is possibility of my application being approved without medicals since my classes resumes on 4th Sept, abt 2weeks time from nw.

2. Is it possible to get Biometrics Validity Letter without medicals.

3. How long do I hv to wait again for an update on my CIC account.

I am in similar situation with you.
I learnt from IRRC website that it takes 9weeks for processing Study Permits for Nigerians. The waiting time is long & filled with tension.
I think we should jst wait & pray they respond early.

Yes. Been over 15 days since biometric correspondence letter.
I applied under SDS from India.

even though I gave me medical exam on June 25, it says I ‘passed medical on 29 July 2019’.

application - 11th July 2019
biometrics enrolment - 13th July 2019
Biometric Correspondent letter - 01 Aug 2019
Waiting since then.

at the time of application, website said it would take 4 weeks to process.

Yes similar case i got correspondence letter on June 18...and still i am waiting
