Let it be so .. i am excited.. atleast i get to see people get their PPR after the long wait and be a part of it
Eventually the lazy officers are going to process our cases. We just have to hang on!!
As every week passes, I realise I'm getting closer to PPR!!
They have extended your medicals.
I don't think that's the case...... My medicals were cleared on 11 Feb 2019 , so as per that, it is one year..... So what I understand is that..... The medicals are valid one year from the date it got passed

I passed medical on November 30. However, it expires for me on October 16th because I took Medicals on the same date.
I'm assuming they extend some medicals on the day it was passed.
Is that true, if a person medical expires then around his/her expiry of medical there is a chance of getting PPR?
Is medical expiry directly proportional to PPR ?
Usually if the medicals are about to expire the following could happen:
1. The person gets PPR and the visa has the validity of the expiry date of medicals and the person has short time to land.
2. The person gets re-medical request:Strong indication of getting PPR after re-medicals or sometimes it's just a process of asking for re-medicals to continue processing the application
Hello everyone my time lines are below:
AOR:14 NOV
MEP: 14 Dec
RPRF request received: 3rd january
RPRF paid: 4th January
Complete silence after that
Applied for GCMS around 10th July
IP2: 14th August
PPR: 15TH August
Thank you everyone for being a constant support. I wish and pray that all receive PPR soon.
Congrats for your PPR. Being a silent reader, I see how depressed you were. But at the end , you got it.
I got my landing done and got COPR, but still open the forum atleast once in a day just to check whether you or Sithlord got the PR or not.
I am waiting for post from Sithlord, I don't know how he gonna write his post. Whether he will write in a single line & not able to express his happiness or he will write whole mahabharat.
All the best Guys.

I think many might be confused between me and the other PRIYA who got ppr

267 Days of Waiting and I I finally got an update on my profile.
Thought it was a ghost update, but I got a request for re-medical to be done. Not sure if to believe this is a good thing or not. Because I was under the impression that re-medicals are usually requested after you complete an year of waiting.
Have any of you guys had this request recently? And how long does it usually take to process after submission of the re-medical?
I'm excited that my file was picked and some update finally happened, but also worried that it should not cause unneccessary delays

Here's the message I received: "
Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)"

That is a good feeling - everyone is going to get their PPR - that is one good thing about canadian express entry - you get a PR right away without being in canada unlike other countries where the wait is very long - like years just to get PR..
whereas in canada - you become a citizen after 3 years if you would like to ..
It is just the delay or time taken to process PR applications that is bothering everyone - especially with the suggested 6 Months timeline and some candidates getting PR in less than 4 Months while others have to wait over 1 year..
If they were good at being consistent in processing all applications - take maximum of not more that 8 Months - this would have been a dream route for everyone - no one was going to complain

@veggiedude
That is a good sign .. you should get your PPR like most of the cases here within 2 weeks of submitting your remed ..
Good luck

That is a good sign! They're probably ready to approve your application as soon as they receive your re-med results. Fingers crossed!!! When is the expiration date of your current medical? Seems a bit early for a November applicant to receive re-med

I'm not sure about my expiration date, my Meds were done in late October and were passed on 3rd Jan.

Call agents information is incorrect for
@Priya0227 they must have confused this with medicals passed date.
Medicals are only extended when a decision is finalized.
