I was already married when i applied for PR. then i got divorced and requested to remove the dependent from my application right after i got my AOR. this year i got married again and added my wife 4 days prior to my pre-arrival letter. dont know how much time will increase for my application.

Yes they will definitely contact you to pay RFPR fees

yes i did get a message to pay RPRF fees, but it was just for me. i called them earlier today and they told me i can pay RPRF fee for both which is me and my wife. also they told me that i can apply for spousal work permit as i am a nomination holder.
