Yes. I meant you should prioritize waiting to get PPR rather than updating them with new details at this stage, which may delay your process. Again, just my thought. Also, if I am not wrong, you can get a new passport and travel with both the passports. All the visa's which are valid on the old passport are considered valid for a new one as well. Feel free to do your own research as well on this topic. Good Luck!
There is one Major issue about renewing passport after getting a visa. Along with visa they issue a document that has old passport number. This is a problem. However, visa itself is not a problem.
Today I called CIC, guy assured me that it is absolutely fine to renew passport and to inform them via web form. I am really in dilemma.
Hi Everyone!
What's the Landing fees for the principal applicant and the spouse? And do we have to show bank balance, like how they show for federal ? If so, then how much for Quebec?

490 CAD if I am not wrong. Check this -

Proof of Funds is only needed while applying for CSQ. However, I on a safer side did submit proof of funds along with my federal application.

Great, then keep aside this confusion and apply for renewal of passport. I agree, this way at least your CoPR will have details of the new passport.
