Very identical to mine.
Finger cross. I know the waiting is frustrating but I wish there’s more clarification on the process. It has been fasten for some people apparently but not for all...
Hi everyone...I just got an email from CIC requesting a police clearance for my wife...just wondering if I have to send it via mail or email?
They have given me two options...just wondering which one is better
Also it says we require police clearance certificate(multiple) please submit a police clearance from India.
Anyone knows what this multiple means?

Hi everyone, I got an email from CIC requesting supporting identity documents. As per the letter received in the email, I can send the requested documents in mail or in an email or web form. I sent the documents in an email and web form 2 weeks back. I am still waiting for an update.
Even though I forwarded the documents and I got confirmation that the documents are received. the current status still shows "Your action is required" in GCKEY portal home page. I see that there is an option to upload the documents in GCKEY, but it is not mentioned in the letter to upload the documents in GCKEY.
Did anyone receive similar request for additional supporting identity documents?
Do I have to upload the documents in GCKEY?
I have received a request from CIC today to provide below information.
> Marriage photos: Please provide additional marriage photos. Photos submitted should include pictures taken of the principal applicant and the sponsor together on other occasions, either before and/or after the wedding including honeymoon photos.
I am curious why they requested this even after sending 30 photos including the date & description of the event on the back of every photo. Do I need to send more photos?
> Proof of Relationship: Please provide a detailed description, including dates, regarding the development of your relationship (.i.e when you began dating, when you began residing together, what the circumstances were, when you began to share finances, when you openly advertised your relationship as a couple).
Sent lot of information initially such as social media screenshots, flight tickets & boarding passes, insurance copies and wedding card. But confused what else they are looking.
> Communication, proof: Proof of communication (such as letters, E-mails, phone bills, text messages), between you and your sponsor with associated dates and a description of the event.
To be honest, we just used whatsapp only to communicate each other and we had chat only in our mother tongue. Do I need to translate this with the help of translator? Suggest me if anyone knows certified translator.
Requesting you guys to assist/provide me with some inputs if any one has already gone through this phase.
And finally the letter has the below lines:
"As a final reminder, you must also complete the medical examination for you and all family members within 30 days of this letter if you have not done so previously. You are required to have all your family members be examined as part of the process of applying for permanent residence in Canada, even if they will not come to Canada with the principal applicant. This examination of your non accompanying dependent is in accordance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation section 70(1)(e)."
My spouse(sponsor) lives in Canada and I live in USA and have already passed medicals. We don't have kids yet but my parents lives in India & they are not mentioned as dependents in initial application. Do I need to submit my parents medicals? Can someone please clarify?

Email is a faster & best option. I would do email. You mentioned "we require police clearance certificate(multiple) please submit a police clearance from India." - They specifically mentioned India, so I assume either one of you are staying overseas. If yes, you need to submit multiple PCC. One from current living country and one from birth country(India).

Hi...my wife is the primary applicant and she is in India...I am a permanent resident in canada...the reason why I was confused about the "multiple" is that she has lived in a different city in india before we got married...I wasn't sure if we need PCC from both the cities.
PS- both the cities are in same state(Punjab) if that matters at all.
Also when you said send the information via e-mail..I always thought they required a original hard copy of the PCC and do they actually send you the confirmation about the email recieved?
Hi ..
can we request IRCC to send PPR and submit Passport in another country, different than PA's home country?
my wife is in Canada so is it possible she can get the Passport stamped in Canada for the PR visa?

Hmmm, it's a strange request for you then. I don't think they need PCC from different cities if a person lived in the same state. Better raise a service request using IRCC web form asking for clarity and meanwhile try to get the PCC from the current living city if not already done.
Yes, I even sent them a hard original copy of my PCC. If they really need a hard copy, then you have to mail them.

I already have a PCC from her current city which is where I am from...but not sure if she needs it from her previous city...Do I have to call CIC or email them to confirm?
