Hey! Today I got an update on my account that my application has been approved.

Here's my timeline:

Medical (upfront) - 3rd July
Paper-based application with Biometrics at VFS Kolkata - 15th July
Data Received by VO Delhi - 16th July (Earlier it showed 18th July)

There were no acknowledgement emails from IRCC. Maybe because I linked my application to my GCKey account on 18th July (before getting any notification from IRCC).

Medical Updated: 31st July
Biometric Correspondence Letter: 1st August
Eligibility review started: 1st August

Today morning a got three updates.

Background Check completed: 16th July
Eligibility review completed: 1st August
Application Approved: 05th August

First of all, I want to thank all those who have provided me with valuable suggestions along with those who offer tips to others as well. Several times one doesn't need to ask a question as there are already well-written answers on this thread.

I still have a couple of questions.
1) It shows 'counterfoil' under the document column with the issue and expiry dates. Is this how it is supposed to be?
2) It says further details are in the message below. However, there is no new message in my account. Does it take time to receive that message?

sure. Will they give decision before 15th of August. Then only we can ask the college for extension of one week or so.

Where did you applied from? If India, by now you should have gotten your result or how many weeks is processing for Indians?

When was your biometrics?

biometric was done on 13th june as my 1st app was refused. it was non sds.

No. The result of my application came within 4 weeks of processing time. There is no point in making a complaint within the stipulated processing period.

I lodged file yesterday and got one do not reply mail today with your file is updated. But login details are with my agent. Any guess what that email is for?

should be Biometric Enrollment Letter. It means you have to give the biometrics at the nearest VAC.

Check one of the previous messages you received for the message in question. I think they already sent it amongst those three.

Probably unless your app was refused. Usually they delayed it longer than expected but whenever they'll respond it will just be the refusal. But I pray it doesn't comes out that way for you. Amen
