Hello! Can anyone help me with this? I’m quite confused about my NoC, my title in my current work is “Loans Processor”. Upon searching it to canada’s website for correct NoC, Financial sales representative is the one popping out (NoC6235) but my agent told me that the correct NoC should be 1232 which is Loans officer because it’s the one that is close to my title loans processor. I checked the job description of financial sales representative and compared it to loans officer JD, they are both the same duties. 100% the same. Can i select NoC 6235 instead of NoC 1232? I just found out that noc 6235 is in high demand in alberta and I also saw in some thread that pei also invite noc6235 from previous draw. If I choose NOc 6235, should i request a new certificate of employment changing my title to Financial sales representative instead of Loans processor? What worries me is if ever I receive ITA from alberta or pei soon, will they call my employer about my job title? My manager or Hr could forget that i requested to change my title to financial sales representatve and tell to pei or alberta that my current title is loans processor. But regarding in Job description, financial sales rep and loans officer is 100% the same. TIA
You cannot delay it. If you withdraw, you will not get the PNP nomination back. Unless you know you have 465+ CRS points you're basically giving up your chance to become a PR.
Why don't you simply land for a weekend and fly back?
Thanks mate.
We are a family of five. Doing a soft landing and again the hard landing within a few months is not financially possible for me as its gonna cost a lot for all five of us. So what about declining the first two ITAs in the last moment and accept the third one and do the medicals in Jan 2020.
I would have simply withdrawn my profile if not for this PNP so that I can refrain from getting ITA till December. Would this affect badly on my profile. I am in a big dilemma.

Yes, you can decline ITAs as long as your PNP nomination is valid (should be valid for one year from date of invitation - what does the letter say about validity?). As long as you have the points on a valid profile, you'll keep getting invited and will have to keep declining.
Declining will not affect your profile. You just have to make sure your profile doesn't expire (one year from the date you created it), your IELTS doesn't expire (you may want to retake it and upload new results if the IELTS is getting old), and your PNP nomination doesn't expire.
Also, you have to actually decline the ITA. If you just let it expire, your profile will be removed from the pool.

Thanks a lot my friend. I do not see any other option than this.
My PNP nomination letter says it's valid till 30th of Jan 2020 and I need to apply to CIC before that date.
My EE profile is valid until July 14th Next year. Does this expire even after submitting the application.
My IELTS expires December 16th this year. But I have yet another result that expires in June 2020 but with some less CRs score.
Does the EE profile allow you to update the IELTS results after declining the ITA. does it get updated with the new CRS score.
By the way, Do I have to provide some reason for declining the ITA. If so , do you think it would be OK. if I just say I couldn't collect the required docs on time.

The PNP and profile are fine, you'll keep getting invited till 30th Jan 2020.
However - your IELTS expiring will be an issue. Your IELTS needs to be valid at the time of ITA and at the time of submission. With your current IELTS, you would have to submit your application before Dec 16. That would mean accepting the ITA in late September to give you enough time to get your docs together.
If you submit by Dec 14th (a couple of days before the IELTS expires), you can expect to get your CoPR by April-May 2020, with a medical expiry of ~Nov 2020. That would work for you.
Just make sure you don't forget to decline the ITAs. Set reminders on your phone or whatever to decline it on the 55th day - give yourself some buffer time in case you forget that day.
You can update your profile with the new IELTS, and it will lower your CRS score; however, I'm not 100% certain about the PNP rules around lower IELTS scores - no idea if that means your PNP nomination is no longer valid. Unless someone with more experience than I can give you a concrete answer, I wouldn't risk changing the IELTS scores.
And there's no reason asked for or needed to decline the ITA. It's just clicking a button.

Hello. If you’ll search using google tool, you’ll find that NOC 1232 refers to loans officer and 6235 for financial sales representative. I think I’ll use 6235 since it’s in demand and most of it’s job responsibility also fits to my current work. My agent just adviced me to request another certificate of employment changing my title from loans processor to financial sales representative. Do you think that’s a good idea? Will there be no conflict soon if ever they will call my employer for background checking? As far as I know, what matters to them is the job description and not the job title, right? I’m just torned right now bcuz My single JOb falls into two NoC code with ALMOST the same job description as in word by word.

My IELTS results are as below
the one expiring on 16 Dec 2019 (which is in my profile) - R 7, W 7, L 8.5, S 8 ( CRs 363 + 600(PNP) = 963)
(SINP EE points as per the IELTS - 68 pts)
the one expiring on 30 June 2020 - R 7.5 , W 6.5 , L 8, S 7.5 ( CRs 303 + 600(PNP) = 903)
(SINP EE points as per the new IELTS - 68 pts)
My SINP points score of 68 based on which I was nominated by SINP does not change even with my new IELTS results ( as I have CLB 8 in the 2nd IELTS too). But my overall CRS points on the EE goes down by 50.
So I don't think the SINP would be an issue as I maintain the language points I was nominated with even with the new results.
I 've just updated my current EE profile with my latest IELTS results which expire in June 2020 . And the score is now shown as 903.
So I am hoping to decline my next two ITAs to get the medicals done in 2020. Hope this would be OK.
appreciate your advice.
Thanks a lot for all your kind help and time

Yes, if your IELTS scores aren't affecting your PNP nomination, there is no issue with your plan. I checked the SINP page and a CLB 8 is easily enough to qualify, so you're good.

There is no such NOC code. I don't care what Google tells you, you have to search the official Government of Canada NOC website, and if that site says there's no such code, there's no such code.
There used to be a NOC 1232. That was dropped many years ago and that job was merged into NOC 6235 (back in 2011, I think). Have you looked at the dates on the Google results you're getting?
Therefore, the basis of your confusion doesn't exist. There is only one NOC code applicable to your job.
You need to dump this agent if he's giving you this kind of incorrect information. You're going to end up getting rejected/banned if you follow advice that's years out of date.
No, you DO NOT need to change your job title. That's called misrepresentation if you are doing it to try and get PR.
You are correct in thinking the job title does not really matter. What matters is the job duties.
1. Dump your agent
2. Don't try and make up/change/falsify documents
3. Apply under NOC 6235

hello all,
am having an issue creating my EE profile.
Is it compulsory for my spouse to take the language test.
I am 43years, have LSWR 8778, a masters degree that has been evaluated with ECA, and over 6 years working experience.
Yet it keeps telling me am not eligible.
what can be the problem?
