Application now says following:
Review of medical results - Review of medical result
July 27, 2019 You passed the medical exam.

I don't know if this is for both parents and brother (dependent). As my brother just did his medical 4 days ago on July 23, 2019
Can someone comment on this. Any idea if this medical pass is for all the applicants or individual basis

Hey Aman, do you know when your file was transferred to CPC Mississauga? Trying to figure how long they took to process it and send PPR. Our file is at Mississauga as well, medical passed but background check not even started.

I thought they are not requesting birth certificates for parents.

You mean they are asking my birth certificate ??

I dint understand , cic letter came to my mothers email iD and we assumed cic is asking for my mothers date of birth certificate support docs.

I was asked the same question and I provided copies of my mother's old passport to show record/stamping of my date of birth. Prior to early 80's, Indian Passport was not issued to minor less than 5 years of age and therefore my DoB was recorded on mother's passport when I was born. They want to see old record for DoB and I was able to get away with this document. Use any of your primary school document, family's ration card, etc. that shows your birth date. If you can't go far then use your high school certificate and include a letter explaining your circumstances for the lack of a birth certificate.

Hello everyone i need help i am very confused ! My elder bro submitted my parents application in draw 2018 , initially my parents were not shortlisted in jan/ feb session , but in sept they got an email for invitation, we were able to submit application and receive confirmation / application number in dec 2018 ,

Ever since then there has been no update , can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Whats next?

Anyone in same boat ?

Yes I am in similar timelines, medical was requested in early May and Received by May 10 and nothing updated after that, not even medical passed. When were your medical received and passed dates ?

My file was transferred to NDVO on Feb 2. They asked some documents on April 15. We have provided those required docs on April 16. No msg after that. In cic applicant status shows Submitted. And I have sent them emails 3 times in the last 3 months, but they don't reply.

Just a quick question for those whose have parents that are already in Canada on PGP PR. Are prescription drugs covered for them by province based on their income?? Thanks

Depends on which province they live in.
For BC, Pharmacare will provide some coverage of drugs. And certain drugs are covered and some are not. You need to check with them.

Did they request medical on April 15 and what's the medical status now ?

The online CIC account is still showing that background is in progress and application status there is also in process .. but on the CIC application status is showed Decision made directly .. and about 42 days later we got the PPR email.. the status on CIC online account has not changed though ...

Finally got the status updated to Approved on CIC account. (Background check completed on May 30th 2019)
Guys dont rely on only the CIC account status as there are delays in updates.
Make sure to check your emails (Spam)... We got the email on 12th July but the CIC account got updated on 30th July.
