You will get acknowledgement of web form in 5-7 days. After that web form team will send it to appropriate department to work on.
I sent a webform to update some information on June 13 and got acknowledgement on June 20 and still waiting for the information to get updated on the application.
Again, your might be fast as they always say "EVERY CASE IS A DIFFERENT CASE"...
@sbakhour Actually, when you re-submit forms, you send them via email and the letter specifically says, "this email address will NOT be monitored for follow-up inquires". If you want to follow up with them, you need to call the Client Support Centre on the 1-888 number.
Thanks robertp! Today I can link my application. The file number starts with "F" now. And it says We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an
update or if we need more information from you. Review of eligibility Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing
your eligibility.
Why? I don't see a need. That email address should be listed in your document request letter. If not, then your document should not be sent via email. The letter also specifically stated the email is for document submission only. Anything else will not be read and will be deleted. If you have general inquiries, you should call or use web form.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have to submit a copy of passport for my PGP application. CIC made a mistake into my parents name. Well I have already submitted using webform but still no reply yet. So I was thinking to send it via email in a hope to move things forward.
@YULIA-2016@robertp
I got a letter from CIC on Jul25 with the application number. I believe that is AOR, right? Can you please update line 180? Username: bsiddi
I have a quick question - I do meet all the income requirements for three years. As per CRA, Line 150 needs to be considered. I don't have EI or anything. However, I have deducted $2,000 of RRSP, if CIC considers after RRSP then I'm off by $500. Someone mentioned in the form that CIC checks taxable income. Can anyone please help?

I don't think it'll work. My email address is for specific submissions in applicant PR processing. I am pretty sure yours is still in stage 1. When I was requested for document in/before stage 1, I didn't get an email address to send documents, only had a fax number instead. Regardless, your case is moving forward believe it or not, and you might run into issues in applicant PR processing stage if this doesn't fixed (ie. background check, medical, PCC etc). Having said that, you should have plenty of time to get it corrected. Web form is the best way to go, follow up by calls to IRCC. Good luck.
