Received an NOI from Ontario last week; grateful to everyone on this forum for being so helpful!
Does anyone here have experience with the OINP? Particularly, how common are denials?
Hello Friends,
Quick question, while applying express entry as single applicant even though you are married, will create any problem in getting PR?
I am planning to sponsor her later on spousal visa.
In my experience most people that have non accompanying spouses run into problems when they declare themselves as single applicants and later theres a discovery that the person was married.
If your spouse is not accompanying, let IRCC know. They have given you the option to immigrate in that case as well.
The bad side of going solo- a year long spousal application. Some people do not like the wait.
Check the network bands your device supports (GSM, EDGE, 3G, 4G etc). Compare them to the bands of carriers in Canada. If there is a match, it will work. Some carriers may have different bands and will not support your device and it won't work, but most of them do. Some cheap Mi models do not support a wide band range, so they fail to catch any signal. Seeing that you've got a high end model, it must work seamlessly in Canada.
It surely will as it has SD 855 chipset and these flagship devices are global phones - meaning that they support most of the bands operated across the world. Its the mid-range phones that are dicey.
When I was struggling to get CLB9 I felt ITA is just within an arm’s length and I had only 1 mission to complete... Now that I am with the CLB9 I dreamed for, suddenly I feel there are too many ambiguities and tasks for me to deal with... and the real wait & struggles only just start from here.
I felt like me sitting at your place reading that statement. I managed to crack Ielts in my third attempt which I took recently and up till that time, I felt that is the only thing which I have to be most concerned about but as that hurdle has been crossed, there are lot of other things and an endless wait which I have to endure.
