My mom had some scars in the chest x-rays when she did her medical for super visa in 2017. So she had to do sputum culture and it was all negative, and she was placed on medical surveillence(needs to be done when she enters Canada). Last year when she was here on her visit, I got her to the TB clinic with that medical surveillance provided by immigration and they again did chest x-rays and sputum culture and it was all negative, the scars remained the same.
Now, i am thinking when she goes for medicals again, will they again repeat sputum culture or if she brings her reports from the Canadian TB clinic, with that they will not do any further tests.
Hi,
Its the same thing that has happened to my mom as well. When she did her medical last year, she had to undergo same sputum test and all that stuff. Medical officers send the reports to IRCC, then IRCC contacts local health agency with the case, then she had been under medical surveillance under some test reports showing negative results have been submitted to local health agency. When local health agency is satisfied , they close the file and inform the IRCC

Oh ok,
Do you think now they will have to repeat same tests when they go for the medicals for PR?
Or just the x-rays, and RMO can compare it to the previous x-rays on file (from super visa) and if no changes, then no further tests?
I don't think it has any effect, I just finished sponsoring my wife while going through Quebec and we finished the whole process in well under 11 months (the processing time is 12) and there are still people from July 2018 who did not go through Quebec and are still waiting for news.
In my opinion MIDI is actually fast, they have a service standard to give you the CSQ in maximum 25 days and I have never heard of any case going over this time, people usually get the CSQ within 18-23 days
What is the best number to reach IRCC? Seems like they switched the names for Principle and Dependent as can be seen online. Not sure if it's a big issue but I will try to fix it. Thanks

What i am saying is that MIDI processing time will apply only for QC applicant . For Other province its straight fwd to go to IME and PCC after DM.
Check in tracker all QC applicant will not get IME after DM like other prov.
I understand MIDI work fast but its work as a speed breaker for QC. Other province DM include financial check and no CSQ required.
For your spouse application you have to go through Kit A ( no financial) BUT for PGP sponsor need to use Kit B.
CSQ will issue after KIT B undertaking application successfully completed.

What should be my next step. Should I call them and ask what’s happening? If people from May 3 onwards received the medical requests, my file should have some type of update.
Also want to update that both my parents are in Canada on Super Visa for the past 4 years. In online application it says “We do not need your medical results. If this changes, we will let you know”. Does this mean something or it’s just a standard message?
Please provide your suggestions.
