However, given your date of 18th May it will be 2-3 weeks before you see any update or you can keep an eye on tracker for 18 May updates.
Ultimately, you will receive an email, called AOR with an application file number.

if you look at those green rows from China, their local office is actually Mississauga instead of Hongkong or other cities. I think what makes them faster is the fact that their parents are already in Canada...

This is not true , they applied early with clean application and case officer may be not the lazy one . I also got SA and medical and I am from India and one of my friend from England also got SA and Medical

No I said the only thing that is FIFO is determining who gets selected as first priority. First 20k that got accepted during EOI were guaranteed acceptance. Although I a saw that aCSR agent said all applicants will be processed IRCC has not made it clear if they are sticking to the 20K applications being accepted or taking everyone. I sent a tweet last week asking for clarification. Never trust just one CSR agent. No answer so far.

Hi, Does anyone know if having syphilis makes the applicant medically inadmissible. I have looked around but it is not very clear. Applicant is waiting to see the specialist to get it treated but is in waiting. Any help will be appreciated!

A very quick question - I sent the additional document request via fax as they only gave me 2 options in the request - 1) Via regular mail or 2) for faster processing via fax

Is there anyone in the group who has used Fax to send the documents requested?
Any idea how long it takes for them to acknowledge the documents we sent via Fax?

I refute your theory based on the following:
My mother has been here for a year
The application was received on April 26th

Yet, the ECAS has been stuck in application received, therefore, my only logical conclusion is that: it’s all random

Normally, the doctors will be checking for any major disease like TB, etc, etc and it does not include any regular problems like BP, Diabetes .

My mom had some scars in the chest x-rays when she did her medical for super visa in 2017. So she had to do sputum culture and it was all negative, and she was placed on medical surveillence(needs to be done when she enters Canada). Last year when she was here on her visit, I got her to the TB clinic with that medical surveillance provided by immigration and they again did chest x-rays and sputum culture and it was all negative, the scars remained the same.

Now, i am thinking when she goes for medicals again, will they again repeat sputum culture or if she brings her reports from the Canadian TB clinic, with that they will not do any further tests.
