Actually, i’m Still waiting for medical request too lol
No timeline for it, a friend applied weeks before me and got MR in feb 2019 and she is still waiting or DM.
Don’t worry, at least when we get it, everything will escalate fast after it and we will get DM within 2 months I hope.
So, things will move fast only when you reach the 21st month , isn't it ?
Hey friend
I know that from which date midi consider file receving date . When postal have recevied at midi or when file no is a generated?
They'll send you an acknowledgement letter and in that they write the file received date and I suppose your process starts since then.

Csq? You have an average of 21 months starting from the date they said they received your file to get PR. In those approximately 21 months, you should be getting your medical request, additional paper requests and decision made/PPR.

When we are near the 21 months, I suppose yes. It does not matter at what moment u get medical request since it is only a 2 Weeks process. What matters is the completion of background and security checks.

I believe 40% of the applicants are from India and I guess Indian applicants might have to wait longer than others, yet it's just my guess.

Yes u ryt
If so then we must prepare ourselves mentally to wait longer than the expected time.
Hi All,
So I have an employer that is willing to write me a job offer and register me on the employer portal. Is there anything I can do in the meanwhile? DOes he have to do his part first and then am i allowed to apply for the work permit? I'm not even sure what to answer in the questionnaire to get to the LMIA exempt part
Any help would be amazing!
Best,
Areeb
