There are lot of "stuck" cases and I am trying to figure out why. Those members are not regular in the forum, so not sure if there is any missing docs or anything or their general name search put some red flags somewhere.

Things were moving somewhat smoothly till May 13th and then came the AoR blast. Not sure if they want to clear their desk from all these AoR files first before start working on the next one. From the last two weekends and overnight e-mails, I am sure they are working overtime on these files.

May 6th should see some conversion to In-process or (DM's wishful thinking) this week or next...All active May6th members in Tracker have AoR...

...continuing the discussion from a few pages back re: obtaining PCC for India folks from a Passport Seva Kendra...

• Parents Visited the Passport Office today (had an appointment)
• Original docs (Passport / Adhaar Card) were verified and handed back. All addresses match and are current. PCC is not issued same day, verification is required.
• The file has now gone to the local SP office for verification.
• All clear will be issued from the local Police Station. Timeframe depends on workload. Anything from 2 days to whenever. The Passport Seva agent has seen timeframes ranging from 1 week to 2-3 months.
• Upon all clear, PCC will be issued from Passport Seva Kendra. Have to visit in person for pickup. No option of having it mailed.
• People whose parents are here should obviously get PCC from consulate.
• Application status can be tracked online. Current status:

PCC application has been granted on 15/07/2019. Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to SP Office, District East Delhi. PCC needs to be collected from the Passport Seva Kendra where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Regional Passport Office. The applicant would receive an e-mail/sms once the PCC is ready for collection.

My application rcvd on May 8, No ECAS yet. When I called cic, agent told me that my file is in very very beginning stage and I won’t be able to see any update for 3 months. They will not tell me what’s hold up since they can’t see my representative form. I am not sure what to do. Any expert advice?

FYI - I am going to resend my representative form today.

Somewhat similar situation here. IRCC agent told me they can see the file entered in the system at the initial stage. He said he could not see my rep form, which I had sent. Very reluctantly, he gave me the temp file number.

How did you send the rep form again - via webform?

There is no need for CIC letter for PCC.

I called IRCC friday and asked for a temporary file number and the agent told me that they don't provide it. Is that true ? how come everyone here got it ?

I called Friday too. And the agent said that she don't see me as representative so she cannot tell me anything. Then I asked her that did that mean she saw my parents info just didn't see me as representative. But she refused to answer.

Is it correct that it took you less than a week to go from In process to DM ?.

I'm May 3rd, and as if now, no additional documents request, no biometric request. And status is still application received for both sponsor and PA on ecas and nothing on myCIC as well. Hopefully today or tomorrow there will be any movement
