In the tracker, there is column called "AoR received", how can we find this info? i mean is that the same as ECAS checking? or CIC emailed to you with appplication #number? how that number look like? does it start with XF......? Thank you so much

Need expert's opinion, thanks. Anyone knows if it is possible to do a upfront medical exam for PGP program? There is no clinic in the hometown that we can do the IME, need to travel for biometric and IME. Was thinking to do an upfront medical exam when my dad doing his biometric enrollment. Need advice. thank you so much.

No you cannot do biometrics or medical examination upfront without the request from CIC first.

Question.. my mom is in toronto we are yet to receive AOR and yet to get an update in ecas.. in the mean time we have requested for her visitor visa extension.. if I get biometrics request in the mean time we cannot goto USA as she will be in implied status .. what else can be done???? Can we goto any VAC to take the biometrics within canada?

Before the expiry of Medical. Visa will expiry with medical expiration or visa will be crossed by immigration officer on their first entry on PR visa (PR visa is only time entry visa)

if we check CIC processing time, PGP will take up to 24 months. However, the case officer needs to make the decision before medical expired. Right?

In most cases, yes. But if medical expires before the decision has been made. Officer will ask for another medical.

Thank you so much for the response. Assume the medical report is submitted today Jul 14th, 2019. Basically, the parents need to land in Canada before or on Jul 14th, 2020 if the PR is granted before Jul 14th, 2020. right? PR single visa expiration date should be Jul 14th, 2020 to ensure the parents must come to Canada before Medical expired.

My parents application went in process on July 4, 2019! Application has 2 applicants and today on Sunday, I received Biometric requests for both applicants! Both ECAS still says in process.
