Hello everybody, this is my first post here...
I'm sponsoring my wife and son from Sri Lanka.
This is my timeline so far, my application was couriered to the Sydney office:
Application received : May 6, 2019
Biometrics Request June 26
Biometrics Given July 3
DM on Sponsor (Email Received ) : May 26

We have not heard anything from them since.
I also have a quick question here, what does "Biometrics passed" mean ? Does this mean that the Biometrics have been sent from the local VO to the
Sydney office or something else ?
When I checked my gcKey there are no updates at all, but the Biometrics Enrollment date and the expiry date has been updated. What does all this mean ?

My file is still not transferred, I see a lot of people in the same time line as me had their files transferred, and no updates to gcKey either. Kind of getting worried here.

No I didnt find any answers. Best to call CIC for help to link application. What about you, did you end up getting to link?

QQ, Imagine that the PA is outside Canada. Does the PA have to sign the "Application for Selection Certificate – Family class (form A-0520-BA)" document and send the original copy in mail. Or a sign and a photocopy is fine. Thanks

I called MIDI for this, and they confirmed that, PA has to send original copy, so my wife sending document to me, I will bring all together and send to MIDI.

Note: The form name would be 0520-BF for french version. MIDI take only french forms now.

Yes I did receive the email as well...apart from that G C key doesnot give any more information either

I got an email about SA approval on the same day I got the Biometrics Instruction email (June 26).

Yes called CIC and they said will take 48 -72 to hours to solve due to technical error. Hope will get it soon now.

Hi everyone - Are they going to contact you before SA approval? And do you need to link your account first before a biometrics will be requested? I noticed that there’s no movement from the time we received the AOR last June28.
