Processing time for each case is different. Their estimated time is 12months but some applications processed faster while some takes more than 12 months

In Shaa Allah.. when did you apply?
Has anybody called CIC regarding transfer of application to Local VO office for 2019 Applications?
why is it taking longer for 2019 applications?
Is anybody else facing trouble logging into CIC to check their application status?
I have tried through both GC Key and Sign-in Partner and it just takes me back to the cic home page every time. Been doing this for 3 days now.
I have to link my application to the online portal but it won't even open it up.

Yes exactly! How can they not transfer files of 2019. We’re in the middle of 2019 now and that is unfair

Nothing we can do about it unfortunately.

It seems to be this Spousal sponsorship process again going into more like 2 years timeline.
I am July 9th, 2018 applicant and file transferred to LVO on Dec, 20th 2018. SO almost 6 months and this year it seems to be worse.
The worst part of all is I haven't heard anything since the file transferred. Orders GCMS notes and nothing has been started/done since Dec 20th 2018.
I suggest you hold tight for a bumpy ride. It seems LVO is backlogged again and these guys are not getting to our apps for almost 6-8 months easily and this is after file transfers. And to make things worse its mostly for Pak applicants since all of us are transferred to LVO.
Painful process.

It's still showing 12 months for Pakistan on the website. I think they should update that so people are prepared for waiting time. This is sad, can't plan anything for future. Stuck in the middle.

Yeah, don't go by the website. We Pakistani's are being treated in a special way I guess that's why all of us are pretty much stuck... only very few cases are done in a year. Combination of being Pakistani Canadian and LVo does the job for us.
