This isn't true. They only sent 20,000 invitations. and ater reviweing the files, if they don't have full 20,000 applications then they will ask more people to apply based on that.

They sent more than 20,000 invitations, it was on IRCC website. IRCC will process all up to June 28 received applications.

Happy to update- got biometric request just now. Got an email saying there is an update on myCIC and in there was 2 letters to be downloaded. Ecas still shows application received, maybe will be updated soon.

Application received in Ottawa May 3rd. Gave sin for cra check.

Is there any possibility that they can reject a file for being incomplete if we have only temporary number ?
The letter for additional documents states "Your application is incomplete. Therefore your application does not meet the requirements for processing.
You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to submit the documentation requested. When you submit your documentation, please ensure that this letter is included in the package. If your application meets the requirements for processing, it will then be placed in the processing queue based on the date on which you submitted an application that was determined to be complete."

Your sponsorship application is approved , my CIC is nothing to do with sponsor part it is relevant of PA applicant which obviously take time to review

Yes, they will reject it if you do not send the additional documents within 30 days. They could have simply rejected the application by law but giving a second opportunity to get a complete application. A very humane agency indeed !
Please hurry up and send the requested doc and you will be placed back in the queue when your application is deemed complete
