I don’t believe this.
They have mentioned that, if you were invited and your application is received before June 28th, they will process it.
Don’t worry, they can not just invite all 27K and then say sorry you were not in the first 20K.

And on the other side, as per discussion in this thread and calculations of some members, I don’t think they will even reach 20K from those 26,612 invitations.

Is it possible that anyone who has received Invitation to apply and has submitted complete application in June but before 28 June 2019, his application may not be processed because 20,000 cap already reached by May 30,2019?

If you think answer is Yes, Did IRCC mentioned this in the PGP process

Nope. IRCC never said anything remotely close to this statement.

I managed to link my paper application to my CIC account today! I used the UCI from my parents super-visa. I had been trying using passport info without luck before. My application was received in Ottawa on 8 May 2019. Current status is "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

Not sure. One of the IRCC agents told a person on this board that applications are processed in FIFO order so that's depressing.

I don't think we should all start calling and taking up their time. ECAS will be available shortly, relax, don't panic. Processing time could take up to 24 months.

Did they tell you if you now have a permanent file number (without X) or not ?

What do you see when you link your application to my cic ? Do you see both sponsor and sponsored person details ?

All I see right now is Details of the PA and dependent. Status is submitted. I don't see any new message(s).

By that logic, my AOR is May 30th (submitted date on GCkey) and the application was received on April 26th, still stuck in “application received”

Your case is very curious as its technically first of the applications received by IRCC and lack of updates must be frustrating. Did you ask IRCC if there is any file noting in your case ?

This is generic update for most of us. Till you see "in process" in ecas for sponsor and applicant, assume that they have not yet started working your file except that its received.
