Medicals passed - February 13,2019
Visa office - Ottawa
I called up CIC last Friday and an agent told me that everything with my application is in order . My eligibility and criminality has been passed and security has not started yet.

Any idea how long security screening will take ?

I have the same timeline. Just got off the call with an agent and they informed that criminality and medical passed but eligibility and security not started yet. Wonder how long does that take!!

They're way behind. And i have other people with AOR : Jan 2 and Jan 4 still waiting. VO: Winnipeg also delays in uploading right progress of your file.

After making several calls to them, i feel it is useless and pointless. Each time i got very different answers from them. Very inconsistent in what they are saying. I guess it is best to forget about it and go on with your life. When you get it finally, it will be a nice surprise i guess lol. Take care guys.

Hi Guys, my Aor is 8 Jan and the 6 months period is over. My eligibility, background check are still pending. Any idea on how much time will it take more? Is it just me or others are also there from the same Aor date.

Hi I'm in same boat 8 Jan AOR and file in ndvo. No response..

My file is too at NDVO . It’s said that NDVO takes minimum 180 for most applicants .
Looks wait is almost over. Hopefully we get in in this week

Thats the current trend with Ottawa VO, they've folded their hands since March on many January Applicants.
