Hi,
When did you be able to see the update on your ecase? After receiving file number?
I tried many times to log in my ecase by my UCI number but it doesn’t work. I still hasn’t received the file number yet.

if your file has been received after 13th may, you have to wait, that is where they are currently at.

Wooohoo, they accept to extend the deadline to do biometric, it is super fast, however there will be delay in the processing overall, but at least they are flexible and it doesnt matter to me at this time to add a few months in processing as my parents already have super visa

What are the best alternatives for Biometric if parents are here in Canada for Visit Visa or Super Visa (recently arrvied) ??
What are the options (excluding canada and US) without going back to home country?

If spouse/partner is not a sponsor, you have to exclude her/him in the count for link purpose. (Also exclude any kids).

Doesn't matter. If your spouse is not a co-signor for PGP sponsor, they will be excluded.

simple formula to Count family member to link under MyCIC is

[Sponsor + if Co-Signer ] + [ PA + if Dep. ]

@YULIA-2016 please correct the date of linking app to myCIC account. It's June 13th not June 25th. Sponsor and PA ecas is application received since June 12th. My application is not in process yet. Thanks

Could someone please advise how can I withdraw my Sponsorship application?

May I withdraw my undertaking once it has been approved?
If you no longer want to sponsor your family members or they no longer wish to immigrate to Canada, you must inform the Case Processing Centre (CPC) of your decision to withdraw your undertaking before the sponsored person(s) become(s) a permanent resident of Canada. You must use this web form and clearly state your name, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) /Client ID number, if known, in all correspondence.

• If you inform the CPC before the sponsored person(s) become(s) a permanent resident of Canada, the CPC will take steps to stop the application process for permanent residence, record the withdrawal of your sponsorship and close your file. You will be informed in writing that your request to withdraw was accepted.
• If you inform the CPC after your family members become permanent residents of Canada, the commitment you and your co-signer, if applicable, made to support your family is valid for the term of your undertaking.

Once the sponsorship undertaking takes effect on the day the person you are sponsoring becomes a permanent resident of Canada, it remains in effect for the entire 20 years, regardless if the status in Canada of the person being sponsored changes.
