Just wanted to share when I called IRCC today - I was told people whose packages reached early June should call in August if they do not see anything online. He said if something was missed or sent incorrectly send a web form with correct information now and not to wait for a letter asking for it. He said to use the sponsors name, UCI and birthday so they can find the file.
When I asked about EI - Maternity or paternity he was not certain but said it should not impact the sponsorship application since it’s not welfare.

Hi those who received file numbers with F000123456, can they advise if permanent file number was absolutely different then Temp file number or they just dropped X from temp file number.

Surprisingly if it is possible. I want to resubmit the use of representative form again. I forgot to add province in the address of representative although the postal code is mentioned. I was filing visitor record application and PR application at the same time and I did this mistake on visitor record application so IRCC asked me to resubmit the form via webform. I wonder if I can submit the new form with a correction before they ask for it?

Hi everyone,

Anyone submitted their application without birth certificate of sponsor and marriage certificate of parents because of non availability in India received their AOR yet. I submitted affidavits from parents, myself,matriculation certificate and other supporting government documents from India. My application was received at Ottawa on 12th june.

Most probably CIC will ask for a marriage and birth certificate, the reason for that is half the applications from India will have the certificates attached. So CIC knows that a certificate can be made in India. Second reason is the sheer number of fraud applications filed, people file application for their siblings showing them as spouse.....for these reason CIC will not take any chance. I think you should better check in PGP 2018 forum for past experiences.

They just drop the X from the number. See the first link in my signature for behind the scenes process.

They received file till June 28. The status in sheet is indicating the status in eCAS. ‘Not Available ‘ means status is not available through eCAS.
