this is a new one for everyone since it is not required in the past. i assume same period like ME, police.

as per tracker Biometrics will be request first as soon as your application in process. (before Medical and PCC)

i called Canada citizenship and found out that application received on 27th May and able to get file number with 'XF00"

Applied for both parents mom and dad. no dependents

From India, currently in BC Canada on supervisa

Invitation recivied on 25 April

Application recived on 27 May confirmed by calling and got temprary file number

Ecas status not yet avaiable .Please update the spreedsheet


question 1. Biometric is required from all the applicant from all countries.
question 2. when i will able to see Ecas status and link application to account. estimate please

I am able to see ecas since last week, but unable to link app in mycic. Anyone else faced similar issue? Usually you can link app in mycic after a day or two it shows up in ecas.

Biometric is required for all Applicant. (not from All country)
May 10th got Ecas update. you have to wait few week more.

same issue here. i do not know the temp application number. i just used my parents info to link to their mycic account. but does not work.

how did you link to mycic? using temporary file number? i assume mycic is under your parents. right?

to link use PA UCI (if you have)/ Passport details and family size (number #people in application include (sponsor+cosig+PA+Dep)

I have update on Friday last week. E-Cas status is still application received though.
