I like your attitude and approach to the process.

We were just getting to stressed about it. At the end of the day we are confident in the proof we sent to prove we are a genuine couple and all the rest.

So we decided to just wait it out and focus on other things. We are slowly making some purchases that will be useful for us over there but mostly just trying to enjoy our family.

The country in itself has had a drastic change and it's gotten very unsafe which is why we decided to go in the first place so spending time at home with family is very important right now.

The process is a 12 month process for most applicants.

I wasn’t referring to 5 months for the whole process

My husband (sponsor) got an email saying that my file was transfer to Mississauga months ago, but it never appears on my ECAS or GCkey.

Hard to say really. U can get ur file transfer but the actually processing doesn't start always right away but Mississauga does things super fast according the the trends

I do , but learned as he said to be most realistic also. This less hurt when you are realistic than dreaming about a probability that most likely won't happen. We all having our ways to cross this? well that's mine. Good if it's faster and all but i doubt.

You've not put any data in the application received date. Once you've filled the data in across each section it'll autofill the dates.
