1 is correct only in-case if just your spouse is applying and has no dependent children. You are not part of this application as you already are PR/Citizen. This information is mentioned in Spouse Visa Application Detailed Guide-line on CIC website

I had tried a couple methods but they didn't work. Then I used Application Number and Family name, it prompted for "Place of Birth" or "Passport Details". Passport Details didn't work for me, so I tried Place of Birth, then filled in details of city he plans to reside in (same as what we put on IMM0008), and then I put married as marital status and "2" as members in application.
Hello friends, need help as all of you already send the file.
I am applying for family sponsorship for my spouse and son. I have gathered all documents. Should i attach all document in one file in a professional manner? Is it allowed to make a set of separate of documents, label them, put them in a separate packets and then file them.
Please suggest as how should i send it. Are we allowed to make a file?
Background check. That's what they say. On ecas we had no update since medicals received. But we call them and they said biometrics and medical has passed.
Ok minor update on linking my app for anyone that's struggling. I got it to work finally after trying every method listed. The problem appeared to be with "Number of people listed on this application" I kept putting two. I put two on the paper app...that was wrong, it was actually 3. Myself, My wife (the sponsor) and my dependent (who is non-accompanying). This was my mistake for sure however the guide wasn't extremely clear so I goofed. Anyway, its linked and all is well.
For reference, I chose Family name and Application number, then chose passport info.
Just an update on my file.
