I had my medical in April 2018 in Montreal and the result was received and passed in May. They are not requesting another one for now. I was just wondering if that was normal. I guess it is normal then. A lot of applications (September- October 2017) were delayed
That seems to be the sense by reading this blog but it's very hard to know if there's something specific about our files (Sept and Oct 2017) that's causing this, I know ppl that applied on Nov 2017 and they're PR already...

Yes we are not able to confirm the case as long as CIC doesn't confirm. But when I checked the spreedsheet that the applicants filled in, some November applicants or End-October applicants had their decisions made while Mid-September - Mid October applicants don't lol. Most applicants who applied in August or before Mid-September got feedback in June. So let's finger crossed.

Exactly..it is kind of confusing. I also know like two of my friends that are Nov-Dec 2017 applicants and they already have PPR.
We applicants for Sept' 17 are still pending.
We shall wait..it will definitely come.
Does anybody know how long it usually takes to get your passport stamped by CEC for PPR? It has been almost 3 weeks and I have not received my passport.

Has there been anyone recently who got their ppr in less than 20 months lately?
Hi Frds
I am an Oct 16 2017 applicant, I submitted a webform about a week back and got the following reply. Any similar replies ?
All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.
Hi Everyone,
I wish to know ones you applied to federal and if you wish to add your spouse in between and how long it takes I have done medical last November
Hi,
I am currently studying in Concordia, Montreal. I am planning to apply for both QSW and FSW, as I want to maximize my chances.
Is there any negative consequence on my application if I apply for both.
Thanks

Only those who recently got their visa can confirm same.
Can confirm. My medicals were expired by two months when I got PPR, without remedical request. COPR is valid one year.

Only inland applicants get medical extension or do they extend medical for outland too???
Need to know this because my medical is going to expire soon.

If you got your PPR after 2 month of medical was expired then how much time they give you to land ? ( validity )
Hello,
To all those who have received DM recently, I have a question for those whose medical have already expired and have not been requested to do re-medical.
How long was the landing visa valid for? I understood that it is normally in line with the medical results 1yr validity. However, if the medical has expired and you were not asked to re-do medical, what is the visa validity in that case?
Thank you
Yes, I also would like to know.
