Hi Folks

Quick question. I sent case specific enquiry to LVO and got following reply

Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that this application remains at our office in Mississauga at present. Once the file arrives in London, it will await an initial review, and we will be in contact thereafter.

What I assume from above answer file not received at LVO ? Above reply was back in Feb 2019.

I just received case notes and there is following line added back on 09th May 2018 in case notes

Application locked in n 2018/05/09. R11: London File forwarded to the visa office for processing.

is this is like that one office is claiming they didnt received the file while other claiming they already sent in May 2018 ?

Other question they withheld few pages from 22 to 26

Are withheld pursuant to section 26 of the Privacy Act ? common ?

we all in same boat - waiting from update from London Visa Office.

Do you have same UCI number for Super visa and current file for them (Immigration) if so yes same medical and bio metrics are good. But Bio metrics are good for 10 years I think and medical validity is only 1 year. If you receive request within 2-3 months and PPR request withing 6 m months you are good as landing need to be done before expiry of medical. Otherwise CIC will ask for medical again which is risk and can cause further delay

That was me. I got biometrics letter before DM. Seems there is no uniform practice. If you look at GC Key, biometrics section is just before background so seems it may happen even later.
What did you get today for DM? Email? I called CIC today and was told I have been approved as sponsor but I have not received anything because nothing has been sent yet and that I will get a letter in the mail that is scheduled to be mailed by July 3! I My status changed to DM in e-case on June 5!

So how do you know LVO is London?

My DM was June 5 but no correspondence yet.

But hold on - if your LVO is London, what is your country? Maybe biometrics requirement does not even apply to you. For Asia it only started applying to applications submitted Jan 1, 2019 and later I believe. Did you have to pay biometric fees?

I am from Pakistan and my parents are back home so my guess is London. Yes i submitted biometrics fee. no 3rd line added to ecase

I do not think the requirement applies to you. You may have overpaid the fee but not sure parents will be asked to give biometrics. I think you should just wait and let process takes its course.

Hi, may I please have someone to help my mom: when my mom filled out the IMM0008 form, she selected no for “have you ever used any other name”. Actually she had used the other name before she turned 7 years old. Now CIC requested her to provide her Household Registry(Hukou), and the other name she used is shown in the Household Registry. Does she need to write a letter to CIC to explain that she did not remember that until she checked her Household Registry recently? Please advise. Thank you in advance.
