That’s not your BGC processing date. That’s the standard timeline for application processing which is 1 year from the time they receive your application. It’s only to represent the average 80% of applications processing in 12 months and your file can be done in less than that time or take longer.
I have a lawyer as my representative, and I was still able to link my application to GCKey. I'm able to access both GCKey and ECAS. I didn't have to remove my rep.
Can you please advise how you managed to link your application to GCKEY? I couldn't do it, i even spoke to someone at immigration Canada and they said the same thing that in order for me to link my application i would need to remove my rep. Just curious which steps you did to link your application. Did you use applicant to sponsor details to link it?

They have made a decision your file and will issue you the Passport Request Letter soon. Background check remains as ‘in process’ on GCKey right until status changes to approved (which happens once they stamp your passport and issue the COPR and start the return process from the embassy). ECAS has no line added for decision being made. It only states that on the PA’s status.
Just doing an update here. As I know people around my timeline have received PPR. I have not, it says they are still processing. However, I think it's because my timeline is a bit more "shady". I moved around a lot the past ten years (Midwest to Coast to Coast) and I am a freelance/contract graphic designer, so I have a LOT of projects and jobs I listed, as I don't just work for one main person. So if they check all these things, they have their work cut out for them LOL.
But just wanted to say that because of my restless past ten years, I feel like it's just taking them longer to work through all the information.

Hey guys, still no update on my end.
Biometrics still don’t say completed even though the numbers and expiration date appear in my profile.
No new line on ECAS neither.
