May I ask those who successfully linked their application to the mycic or got update on esca, what info did you use to link? Sponsors information or the main applicants? My file was received on May 9th and nothing yet. Thanks

i have noticed that most of the forms have been updated, so now the forms have date 06-2019 at the botton left . Do we need to send the new forms .Also, I see that in form IMM5768 financial evaluation, point 7 total family members doesn't get updated automatically. Can i write the number by hand ?

You need to wait a couple of days/weeks more, right now it is a bit slow down as the bucks of applications reaching IRCC, most people can see ecas only up to 3rd May. Once your file is processed, you can link using the principal applicant not yours, and you must have an F file number to link it

I'm re-doing all my apps with new June release,
Just noticed Additional Family Information form IMM 5406 Section A has new "Relationship" slot called "Parent"
There lines for Father and Mother, then there is also line for Parent?
what is this???? leave it blank?
Good gosh... why they release new forms when most people have already sent mailed in May???

My father downloaded, filled & signed all forms and sent to me alongwith all supporting documents by courier. I checked, verified and signed before sending to Ottawa by Canada Post, delivered on 10 May. Awaiting it to appear on e-cas in the next few days.
We have filled "Use of Representative Form" in my favour, mainly keeping in mind that it will be convenient to order GCMS notes when required. He is computer savvy and has more spare time than me to monitor their case thru GCKey or e-cas.
He has also created his account on GCKey. He paid the fee using his credit card and Receipt shows his name.
My question is, once it appears on e-cas, who should link it to GCKey, my father or me and why?

I think Principal applicant because he is the main applicant as a representative you will also get a notification from IRCC for updates or requests for additional documents

That is for same sex parents, some people have gay parent for example, so no father or mother but just parent

Congrats. I linked my application with FN today but still have no access to ECAS. Weird. Of coz now i don’t need ECAS anymore

I can't link my application to ECAS; it can't find it.

I'd send a CSE web form with the checklist but I've been ultra paranoid about everything with this application.
