A new member here from a different month of AoR. I have a few more months ahead of me for PPR but I do have a slight concern. Searched through the entire site and came across one of the most active forums for a question.
I had a ghost update in my profile today but I realized that the background check status has now changed to “your application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your background check” from “We are processing your background check, we will message you if we need more information”. The status which said they were processing the BG check was there for about a month now.
So this is basically going from IP2 to IP1 (backwards). Isn’t it usually the other way around? I’m a little confused and concerned too. If someone could please shed some light on this, I’d really appreciate it.
I don’t want to contact IRCC just yet cause I have plenty of time in hand before anything would be finalized.
Please help....I am calling the agent since 6 PM IST ..when I specify my application number and year of birth , the agent says they are unable to locate the file with the given information...I have provided correct information and tried 10 times but everytime the caller says unable to locate file with given credentials....this was not happening before...I have called them last week and talked to an agent...Don't know wat happened....I am scared...Don't know what went wrong...Please guide

It is asking for my cv In first place
The second option states - the applicant specifies that he is self employed and he has not provided further information
Now first of all I am a female - and they are using 'he' , secondly they are asking my documents of being self employed, whereas I am in a job...
If I consider that these documents are requested for my dependant..... ..... That will also not be true coz I submitted all the documents on 17/05
Spoke to agent even she got confused and sot of accepted the mistake.....
What should I do now?

Hi, this happened with me too.. And i got scared as well.. Just press the option to connect with an agent.. And they will have ur details already pulled up.. I guess they have made changes to the I've as well.. Or may be some maintainence work.

Hi, this happened with me too.. And i got scared as well.. Just press the option to connect with an agent.. And they will have ur details already pulled up.. I guess they have made changes to the I've as well.. Or may be some maintainence work.

She told me Oct 1 is the maximum date. But does anyone hear this similar date and have any idea why extra 4 months?
My AOR is Nov 11, 2018, inland and in Edmonton office

They said October 8th for me. I have only security started. This seems to be a “random” date. I think in your case it should be earlier than that, but who knows. Good luck.
