Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Background check : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Means the real thing is started there, so when you have those 2 messages seems good sign, that doesn't say how much time its gonna take but that shows they are working on it...

I am not sure if that actually means the real thing has started.. that's how MYCIC was for me from the very beginning. For some ppl it does means something but for others they have had that from the very beginning

well i remember when it first started the messages were different in my case... it was like We will send you a message when background-check start blabla... and Your eligibiltiy is not yet started now it says started.. so idk... just can't remember when it changed lol

When I linked my file to GCKey it did not show that we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
But before I received BR, SA & MR, ( a week ago) it changed to we are reviewing

When you check your Application Status in your online account.........what's the message for Review of Eligibility.....(1) or (2)....below;

1.) Review of eligibility: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility."
2.) Review of eligibility: "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

Background check takes awhile to complete....in your Application Status.....what's the Background Check message....(1) or (2).....below;

1.) Background Check: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
2.) Background Check: “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“

Got DM last wed. But havent receive PPR. What does your ecas say? Does it say they started processing your app on May 28th?

tell you PA to call cic they will let you know if in case you missed email from them

shows as they are but when i called the girl was like no it's not started.... and it,s the same status since start so.... i don' t really rely on GC anymore..

what is GC table if u dont mind me asking?

ecas messages are different.

if u nean by GC table a MyCIC account and link it online to ur app, i did that but , mycic is blank,
